The Ascot rug features an intricately crafted Viscose border with a very fine yarn, exhibiting imperfections, especially along the edging. It's important to note that the border will shed fibers throughout the rug's lifetime. To preserve the delicate viscose pile, it is strongly recommended not to use the vacuum's beater bar on the border as it can damage the pile. Additionally, the central portion of the rug is made of wool, which also shed fibers. If these characteristics might pose challenges for you, we recommend considering an alternative rug.

Synthetic latex backing may cause a temporary chemical smell in new rugs, which fades over time. Wool rugs may have a natural, musty scent due to their animal fibre composition. If you prefer uniformity and perfection, consider machine-made rugs with synthetic materials for a consistent look.
